SHI sponsors Atnané Day Camp, a free, two-week art program for high school students in Juneau, offered by Sealaska Heritage Institute in partnership with the University of Alaska Southeast. Open to incoming freshmen through recently graduated seniors, the camp runs May 26–June 6, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sealaska Heritage Arts Campus. Students will learn Northwest Coast formline design and silver and copper jewelry making. SHI will cover all tools, supplies, and the $90 UAS credit fee for students seeking college credit. Registration closes May 10.
