LAB DESCRIPTION

If you are new to the Atnané Hít Open Weaving Lab, we ask that you please complete the full application form.

During the supervised weaving lab hours, participants will work on one or more Northwest Coast art weaving projects of their own choice, with the possibility of seeking technical advice from the instructors/supervisors.

SHI provides the facility and some tools at the weaving lab, but participants are encouraged to bring their own tools and supplies for their projects. SHI does not provide supplies such as warps and wefts for weaving or basketry.
