About the Instructor
Jno Didrickson was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, and spent half his youth in Sitka. He is a Tlingit of the Luk’nax̱.adí (Raven-Coho) clan, Yaay Hít (Whale House), and Deisheetan Yádi (Raven-Beaver) clan. His interest in Native artwork began at a very young age, and his carving skills were mostly self-taught. He learned by observing his aunt and other master carvers demonstrating their craft. In his creation of original designs, he strives for a traditional look by studying older designs. Jno has held five exhibitions of his artwork while living abroad in Turkey from 2001 to 2010.

Applications close on October 31, 2024.
